Curriculum

Greek

  • 18 hours in ancient Greek and/or related courses (12 hours at the 300-level or above).
  • At least 6 of those hours must be in ancient Greek at the 300-level or above.
  • In addition to courses in Greek, students may include CLSX 526 or CLSX 317; any other CLSX courses at the 300-level or above (excluding CLSX 340 or CLSX 501), and PHIL 608.

Latin

  • 18 hours in Latin and/or related courses (12 hours at the 300-level or above).
  • At least 6 of those hours must be in Latin at the 300-level or above.
  • In addition to courses in Latin, students may include CLSX 527 or CLSX 317, any other CLSX courses at the 300-level or above (excluding CLSX 330, CLSX 384, or CLSX 388), and PHIL 608.

Classical Languages

  • 18 hours in Latin, Greek and/or CLSX (12 of these must be Latin or Greek at the 300-level or above).
  • In addition to courses in Latin and Greek, students may include any CLSX courses.

Classical Antiquity

  • 18 hours in Classics (12 hours at the 300-level or above).
  • At least 12 hours must be in CLSX courses.
  • 6 more hours may be Classics, Latin, Greek, ancient philosophy, or ancient history, excluding HIST 107.
