The theme of the 9th Annual Paul Rehak Symposium on Ancient Art will be Roman Villas on the Bay of Naples

Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 2:00-5:00 pm

Speakers for this year's symposium are:
Michael Thomas (University of Texas at Austin): “From Vineyard to Amphora: Oplontis B and the Wine Trade on the Bay of Naples”
Regina Gee (Montana State University): “The Wall Paintings of Villa A (of Poppaea) at Oplontis: Style Narratives and Movement Patterns”
Thomas Howe (Southwestern University): “Recent Work at Stabiae: The Panoramic Sensibility in Garden and Seaside Villa”

To be held in the Conference Room at the Hall Center for the Humanities on KU's campus.
